Shorts, explained

Terms

Last updated 2026-10-11.

1. The service and your authorization

analyzed.redapt.app (“we”) produces research reports on the storytelling structure of publicly available YouTube Shorts. By placing a paid order, you request and authorize us to temporarily download and process the public videos within your requested channel and Short count, through third-party providers, solely to produce your report. This is your instruction to us, not authentication to a YouTube account: we do not ask for your YouTube password or account cookies. We measure the videos with software (shot changes, motion, audio levels), transcribe their speech, and use AI language models to write the story readings and summaries. Reports describe patterns; they are commentary and analysis, not advice or a guarantee of results.

2. Payment

The price is shown before you pay: a base amount plus an amount per requested Short, in US dollars. Payment is required to start an analysis and is a payment for that analysis. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record and may show its own terms at checkout. Some requested Shorts may be unavailable (for example age-restricted, private or removed) and are then left out of the report. If an analysis fails or is substantially incomplete, contact us and we will review a full or partial refund.

3. Your result link

We do not create accounts. Your private result link is the only way to open your report. Anyone with the link can view it, and we cannot recover a lost link.

4. What we keep

We do not maintain an archive of the downloaded video files or offer them for redistribution. Our processing container discards its temporary video files after processing. Third-party providers may retain copies or processing data under their own policies; our cleanup does not delete their records. We retain the report, still frames and contact sheets, transcripts, measurements and story readings, along with job, payment-reference and processing-cost records needed to operate the service. A report is marked as out of date once it is more than 30 days old. This is a notice, not automatic deletion; we may remove reports and their data after that. We do not claim ownership of the source videos.

4a. Email and privacy

We collect your email through Dodo Payments checkout and when you contact support, for receipts, payment administration, support and refunds. Dodo holds the checkout customer record; our report database does not currently store a separate customer-email field. Your email is not displayed in reports or sent as an input to our video-analysis models. We do not sell your email or share it for third-party marketing.

Other than the payment and support providers needed to fulfil your request, we do not disclose your email to others without your written request or consent, unless disclosure is required by applicable law or binding legal process. An informal third-party request alone is not enough. Where disclosure is legally required, we limit it to what is required and notify you where legally permitted. Dodo processes and retains payment and customer information under its own Privacy Policy, including its sections on collection, disclosure and retention. Contact us through the support contact at checkout to request access, correction or deletion; legal recordkeeping obligations may limit deletion.

5. Third-party content and permissions

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google. The analysed videos, and the frames and quotations taken from them, belong to their owners and appear in reports for research, commentary and analysis. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights, permissions or other lawful basis needed for your request. Your authorization to us does not grant rights owned by someone else, override YouTube’s Terms of Service (Permissions and Restrictions), or establish that every use is lawful. Public availability alone is not permission to download or reuse a video. Do not republish report material in violation of others’ rights. Owners who want a report or its frames removed can contact us with the report URL, the affected work and the basis of their request; we will review it promptly. Acting on your instructions does not exclude responsibilities we have under applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

Use the service only for public channels and for lawful purposes. Do not use reports to harass, impersonate or infringe the rights of others.

7. No warranty; liability

Reports are provided as is. Measurements and AI readings can be incomplete or wrong. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any analysis is limited to the amount you paid for it.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. For refunds, removals or questions, reply to your Dodo Payments receipt or use the support contact shown at checkout.
